Social Media Analytics is proving to be a important cog in the wheel when it comes to determining the success of any social media campaign.
What is the first thing you do to gauge the success of the campaign? Look for numbers, right! And that’s exactly what everyone is looking for.
Maybe, each one of us leverages social media analytics data differently. But, according to the infographic, much of it is around:
1. Brand Reach
2. Competition Analysis
5. Share of voice
In fact, each of these terms are important. As they provide you with more insights and in turn help you improve quality of the marketing campaign.
I also use few tools (well, this gives idea for yet another post) to track my content and it keeps me abreast of what my audience is looking for and which of my content seeing the light of the day. I guess, brands can do the same with social media analytics.
The problem though would be if you’re over-leveraging the data. I have known brands who try to jack-up the numbers using different not-so-right kind of strategies.
