2013 began with much fun fare and the plan was to write quality blog posts.
Over the year, I wrote about 90+ blog posts and while few performed disastrously, there were few which really stood out.
How did I rank them?
Simple, I used Google Analytics and found the Unique Page Views. Each of this blog posts have garnered the maximum views from the 90+ that have been written so far.
Other was the number of comments they have generated. Few of them did make enough noise and I was glad to interact with each of the commenter.
What did I really do differently with those?
A close look and we see that 3 of them are ‘infographics’ and the other two are also related to images. No wonder, we love all the graphical stuff and that was the reason I wanted a mix of articles and infographics on my blog.
What fared well and why?
As I see in the list, the post on SEO Trends topped the list and I could see a reason. Who doesn’t want to stay safe with Google? In order to improve rankings and get noticed, we all apply a bit of SEO and knowing what to do helps. That I guess was the reason, this post fared pretty well.
What is the action plan for 2014?
For starters, I have already shared my blogging goals in the previous post. While I do look forward to stick to that, I promise to blog more often and have mix of content.
Infographics did fare well this year and next year it could be videos.
So, finally here’s the list…
